In Part 1, we've seen more of marine fishes and deep sea creatures. Now, let's take a look on the other creatures found in Siam Ocean World.
Siam Ocean World have some colourful frogs. There is a tiny frog of my thumb size and striking red in colour. Isn't it beautiful? If I'm not mistaken, this is a poisonous frog.
Next, let's take a look at some fishes which I classified as "unique". First, there's this Blind Cave fish which doesn't seem to have eyes. Next, Gulper Catfish which loves hiding at dark corners of the tank. The most interesting fish I've seen so far is the Salamander Fish. It is the first fish I seen that has legs and even "horns" or "feelers".
Next, we have the Family Otters which are forever active. They chase each other here and there, dive into their personal pond gave us an entertaining show. I spent some time fiddling with the shutter speeds and ISO before getting a shot of it swimming.
The large fishes are really huge. There are almost 2 meters in length and magnificent. I wonder how many kilograms of food they are fed? Next, Happy Feet - Penguins except they aren't dancing or singing.
Near the end of Siam Ocean World lies the 270 degrees glass tunnel which displays the marine wildlife swimming freely. Finally, at this area, I saw the king of the ocean, Sharks! Look at the size and looks of it. No wonder it made kids cry when they saw it.
Hope you folks enjoyed this mini tour of Siam Ocean World. Stay tune for more Bangkok cafes and temples =) Kob Khun Krap (Thank You)!
