Two Chefs Eating Place

We tried out Two Chefs Eating Place at Commonwealth as a post Father's Day celebration.

We reached there around 6 plus and joined the short waiting queue. We waited for around 5 to 10 minutes before getting our table. While we were waiting for our seats, we ordered our dishes. Food was served 5 to 10 minutes after we gotten our table. To be frank, it's quite fast!

Food at Two Chefs Eating Place was quite impressive. First, the butter pork ribs. It's more of milk powder pork ribs instead. The pork ribs was well cooked. It's quite tender and covered with sweet milk powder. I still prefer the salted egg pork ribs at Far East Plaza.

I felt that the stir fry potato leaves are quite bland. I would prefer them to be a little saltier and spicier. However, my dad says it's just right. Guess he's prefers more of a healthier choice.

The curry fish head was quite good. It is spicy and salty enough. However, it tends to be a little sticker and the fish cools quite quickly under the fans. The meat is fresh and tender. It's not overcooked and soft. This makes me think of 金龙咖哩鱼头 at JB.

The bean curb tasted a bit bland (I wonder if it's because I'm sick that kills all the taste). The prawn roll on the other hand was good. Crispy on the outside, warm and tasty on the inside. However, I felt it could be hotter inside. My guess is it's not served right away when cooked.

Last, my favourite dish of that day, the Herbal Chicken. The broth is rich in flavour and addictive. The chicken meat is tender except for the breast part of course. I had 2 bowls of soup!

Do try out Two Chefs Eating Place folks. Do get there early if you do not wish to queue. I'm dying to try their spinach with century egg!!!
