Project Silhouette I

Icame across an article on PetaPixel regarding shooting silhouettes. I was amazed by the beautiful photos and was inspired by it. I did a little research and decided to try it out. They are lots of tutorials out there about shooting silhouettes.

I was at Harmoni Hotel in Batam and I noticed this dark corner in the lobby with a clear big window. I recognize a chance for me to try out Silhouette Photography. After much persuasion, my dear finally agreed to help post for the photo.

The above photo is the test shot I did to get the exposure for the crisp black Silhouette. I get the ground correctly exposed and since the light source is behind my dear, she is almost completely darken.

I asked for a prominent pose so that it brings out more interesting curves and lines when she poses. In response, that's what she did. HAHA! Isn't she cute!

We tried to shape out a heart with our hands and body but it wasn't successful. Then, my camera gave me battery problems and died on me. Last picture! Enjoy folks!
