I had some leisure time during the weekends and was searching for some post processing tips for Lightroom (since I'm editing my vacation photos). I came across the videos on the Lightroom Workflow by Jared Platt.
I think his workflow is effective. (Although I'm not a photographer and never tried out his workflow). By looking through the 4 videos below, I've learnt something and what he presented makes sense. Most of the time, it is simple and logical thinking, nothing special or complicated.
First, his workflow talks about the architecture of your tower, disks and he goes on to emphasis the importances of backup, naming of your catalogs and images. He also mention the mechanism of keywording your images and shows us how to normalize a photo before going through the Lightroom presets.
I seriously recommend those who have interest in starting up a photography company to watch these videos. It might straighten your thinking, improve your efficiency and skills greatly.
Main Takeaway"We're disorganized and we make use of systems to force ourselves to be organized."
