Here's my highlights in Da Nang last August.
It's a beautiful place!
Firstly, we have the Da Nang Cathedral. Da Nang Cathedral was built by French priest Louis Vallet in 1923. The main attraction is it's pink! *sounded girly*. Oh well~ it's the Instagram friendly and full of opportunities for photos.
Spent about an hour there taking shots of the cathedral and the statues around it. There's also a hallway which a lot of tourist pose for shots.
Next, we have the Dragon Bridge. The Dragon Bridge is on of the longest bridge in Vietnam. At night, the bridge is illuminated with colourful LED lights. On weekends or annual festivities, the dragon spit water or breathe fire from its mouth.
Marble Mountains is a cluster of five marble and limestone hills located in Ngũ Hành Sơn District. Below, is a pic of me taken at the entrance of Marble Mountains. From here, we have a beautiful view of the houses and some lone hills.
In the mountains, there're temples and pagodas where you could visit to pray. Next, scale up the mountains to the submit where you can catch a glimpse of the nearby beach. Do offer your prayers as a respect before starting the hike ;)
Lastly, you have the beach! It will be covered in the next post.
Stay tune folks =)
