Bangkok Trip 2014 - Chatuchak Weekend Market

Chatuchak is one of the world's largest weekend markets. Coconut ice cream, fried chicken and of course cheap bargain is what I'm here for.

You can reach Chatuchak Weekend Market via sky train at Mo Chit Station. Take Exit 1 and walk down the street of stalls till you reach the heart of Chatuchak.

I love the fried chicken hip at Jeed Jard Restaurant. It is perfectly fried and not oily at all. The chicken is super crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Feel free to add their spicy chilli sauce for an extra taste.

The papaya salad is unique too. Nice crunchy strips of papaya with peanuts and a lightly sour sauce - the perfect appetiser. Of course I had some coconut ice cream! I'm too engross in having it and I forgot to take a photo of it.

Chatuchak Weekend Market is huge and if you spotted something you wanted, BUY IT! You will not be able to find the same stall later. The variety at Chatuchak is huge. Basically, they sell "everything" HAHA!

After a whole morning of shopping, I settle for lunch at their food section. I ordered a plate of Pad Thai before continuing shopping.

Just a note, be sure to hydrate yourself as the weather gets hot! Enjoy shopping =)
