Saturday Night Feast at Supulae, Wabar and Dessert

Saturday night feast for this week! Four of my best friends, dear and I had a sumptuous meal at Supulae - Korean Restaurant.

Supulae is a Korean restaurant ran by authentic Koreans. We order two sets for four pax and an additional rice. The ambience here is quite good especially the lighting and of course the FOOD! Korean BBQ meat. Yummy! Best part of all, they do the barbecuing for you and all you have to do is wait, open up your mouth and Ah-umm.

I must say the BBQ meat here taste awesome!!! The meat's tender and well seasoned with a slight touch of honey. They also have free flow of kimchi; so do "make full use" of it.

I would recommend this place to meat-lovers! Folks who love meat and doesn't take vegetables, this is the place for you. Yes, YOU'' CARNIVORES =) Korean beer with great meat. Heavenly weekend!

After dinner, we had our second round of drinking at WaBar nearby. It seems like that whole stretch of Tajong Pagar Road is categorized for Korean stuff; food, bars and even salons. I love the popcorns at WaBar. They seasoned it with curry powder and it tasted like Twisties (curry flavor) or is it like the Mamee Monster snack? Anyways, it's a nice place to chill, catch up and watch soccer.

Half-drunk, they decided to have a sweet treat and we patronized this stall at the streets of Chinatown that sells shaved ice. We were quite surprised it is still open at eleven plus in the night. Anyways, most of their choices are out of stock and we ended up with Chocolate Banana Shaved Ice.

I don't know if it's because of the alcohol, the chocolate banana tasted funny. It's not up to my expectations; or just maybe I am always comparing it with the top ones. After dessert, we headed home and that concludes our Saturday Night.

As usual, each year, the only two presents I would receive for my birthday. One of which is from my lovely dear (thanks) and the other, from my best friends whom I knew for a decade. "Thanks guys, for the birthday present! As always, a month plus late. Hahaha! =)"

It's really hard to find true friends who would put in the effort to actually care and maintain contact with you. Sometimes, I'm just too tired and afraid to make the first move. I don't want to get "rejected" and disappointed once again.

OK! I shall stop here and keep my inner feelings off this blog. This should be a blog that shares the good stuff =) Pardon me folks! Goodnight.
