Kim Dae Mun Korean Food

Was brought here by May Yi. She had been praising how good the korean food at Kim Dae Mun was and that I would like it.

Finally, we did have time to try it out. Kim Dae Mun Korean Food is located at the basement food court at Concorde Hotel. I had the spicy chicken soup set and ordered steamed dumplings as sides.

The Spicy Chicken Soup Set is not as spicy as I thought it would be. However, it's super filling. The bowl consists of small chunks of chicken, lots of bean curb and kim chi. It cost $6.50 but it does fill you up to the brim.

I just love the soup of this! It is different from other Korean Stalls that uses paste which tasted sour and spicy. The soup's a little thicker and not entirely sour. Fermented taste I would describe.

The steamed dumpling feels nothing special. We were wondering if it would be wiser to get the fried wants. Anyway, I can't really comment on this as we were too busy instagram-ing and when we tried the dumplings, the skin has turned hard and a little too dry.

Do try out Kim Dae Mun Korean Food folks. Do expect a queue if you patronize them during peak hours (lunch/dinner time).
