Never had I experience winter climates in my life before. It's my first time having a feel of somewhat close to that - extreme cold.
Went to 2Degree Ice Art a few weeks back. It's located at Sheares Link, Bay Front Ave (located right next to Bayfront MRT Exit A). We queued and geared up with winter wear and gloves before entered the exhibition hall.
It's super COLD inside and I mean SUPER (pardon me for my "suaku-ness"). The exhibition is mostly filled with ice sculptures of famous structures that represents countries. Of course, you can find the identity icon of Singapore there, Merlion of Singapore.
Smack in the center of the exhibition, lies an ice castle with slides. One main slide in the middle that is meant to be used with the float and a side slide which you can slide normally. We only tried out the side slide and I have 2 words to describe. WET & FAST!!!!
We stay there for around an hour plus before leaving. I could feel my feet went cold and my nose hardening till the point of a slight ache due to the dry atmosphere. There are hot beverages and food sold outside the exhibition. However, the price is pretty steep. One small cup of hot milo cost $2.
Lastly, more ice sculptures for you folks! Enjoy!
