Our new place to explore - Joo Chiat! A place filled with good food and rows of shophouses. Joo Chiat just feels different for us =)
Sorry folks! Lately, life's been busy and rough =| Now, I am back with Fei Fei Wanton Mee (飞飞云吞面) @ Joo Chiat Place. The noodles feels springy (QQ) and the wanton tastes right - the skin is soft and the taste of the filling is rich.
However, for me, this bowl of noodles tasted ordinary and to be frank a little bland for my taste. (Or did I set a high expectation due to the good reviews of this stall?)
We ordered prawn rolls as side. These are amazingly good. It is fried to perfection. The dish is not too oily - super crispy on the outside and hot on the inside. Dipping it with the sweet sour sauce - YUMMY!
