Tis Hong Kong cafe has never fail to disappoint me.The cafe was decorated with old retro posters and articles like the hot water flask, telephone, television, Laser Disk Covers (who still uses LD now?).
It is lit with warm light and old school music. Not to worry! The air condition is cool enough so you don't feel the heat. The service there is not too bad. Food comes right quick and they serve you with a smile.
The food here was good! It has its unique taste (I guess it's the traditional Hong Kong taste). We had fried fish skin, rickshaw noodle and spicy sour fish slice noodle.
Fried fish skin taste normal, similar to those you can find at super market and Malaysia. It costs $3 for a few slices of skin. Since my dear never ate fish skin before, ordered one for her to try. It taste crispy and much softer then those in packets.
This bowl of rickshaw noodle is light flavored and refreshing. There are a number of ingredients in this bowl of noodle. It has more of vegetables than meat. (Sorry to disappoint you meat eaters).
