Went to West Coast Park last Sunday with my dear. Thought of bringing her to the sea since she rarely been to West Coast Park.
We can't help but notice this strange thorny tree with beautiful vibrant flowers near the entrances of the park.
Next, we heard lots of laughter and chattering sounds. A good 10 metres walk lead us to the playgrounds. It was filled with kids and teenagers.
They were climbing up and down the playgrounds, building sand castles and chasing one another.
We enjoyed the sea breeze and the sunset. Staying at a small jetty, we took some shots and observed the people flying kites.
There's a super short forest walk and a pond at the end of the new park. It is filled with exotic plants and trees but poorly maintained. The plants seem to wither and the place is infected with mosquitos.
After a long walk, we headed down to West Coast Food Centre for dinner.
I had chicken chop fried rice and dear had a bowl chinese style spicy sour noodle. Dessert for us was Barley Gingko Nuts Soup.
Food was great, especially my plate of filling chicken chop! First time trying out the dessert. It was refreshing.

There's how we spent our last weekend. Hope you folks had a great weekend too.
I'm testing out this new 2 columns layout. Hope it's not too clatter and distracting to you viewers out there.
