Took a walk at Sembawang Park last weekend. Some parts of the park are still under construction. Workers can be seen painting and retouching the sheds. There are 3 fitness corners at the area and do expect a kid's playground in the near future.
There is a jetty there where people fish and sits there, enjoying the sea breeze. Next to the jetty, is the Sembawang Shipyard, where you can see huge vessels harboring.
Here are some activities that you might do at Sembawang Park. Jog around the park, see some green and keep healthy. If fishing is your hobby, you might want to try fishing at the jetty. I heard its a good fishing spot.
Bring your family for a picnic. Children can cycle or run around the park and the adults can relax under a shady tree, reading books, playing ipad games etc. It's a good choice to spend your weekends.
Lastly, you can always go for a stroll, do you exercises at the fitness corner, or just look at the weird trees and plants around the park.
