The Star Vista

I spotted this new building near Buona Vista Station on my way home from work. I goggled and found out that it is a new CapitaMall - The Star Vista. So, I decided check out Star Vista with my girlfriend.

Star Vista is still not fully completed. However, shops are opened at basement 1, first and second floors. If you're a food lover, you will definitely love this place. There is a Korean restaurant, a few Taiwan snack stalls, some ice cream stalls and quite a number of cafes.

At basement 1, there is The Star Plaza where you find a water fountain and catch kids playing with the water.

If you feel tired after a whole day of shopping you can always find seats at The Star Plaza. But be aware that some areas are non-shelter, so pray that the weather is good.

At the second floor, there is a little path with a beautiful view of Buona Vista's surroundings. This path leads to some of the bars, grills and also to the mall. I think it would be a nice chilling place to enjoy our food and have a bottle of beer during the weekends. (looking forward to the opening of the bars)

If I'm not wrong, Star Performing Arts Centre will be located above the mall. This will be Singapore’s largest auditorium in the suburbs which is expected to sit a total of 5,000 people.

Dinner @ Menya Musashi

Menya Musashi's Ramen is tasty. They have 3 types of soup bases - white, black and red. Red based soup should be spicy. Anyway I had cha shu Ramen and my lovely girlfriend had seafood ramen.

The noodles are quite 'Q' (springy). The soup is rich and not too thick. I'm disappointed with the lard which are a bit too hard and as for the seafood ramen, the shell fishes are tasteless. The soup did not bring out the savory seafood taste.

After dinner, I went home, prepared my camera and got ready for night shooting at Marina Bay Sand's Area. Stay tune for the photos in the next entry!

Enjoy the last bit of the weekend folks!
